Did Adrienne Bailon Leak Her Own Photos? Wed, 12-Nov-2008
In the wake of her supposed nude photo scandal, it seems Adrienne Bailon is caught in a bit of a pickle. According to her former publicist, the ‘stolen pictures’ story was just a ploy to sex up her image and give her career a boost.
Jonathon Jaxson told FOX Pop Tarts' Hollie McKay, "Adrienne's tour with Cheetah Girls will be over December 22nd, so she is then free to pursue other projects and wanted to be seen as more adult and sexy. So after the laptop was stolen we used it as an opportunity to drum up some publicity and start speculating about nude photos, but we never expected anything to get out."
Jaxson also noted that the photos in question were actually stolen from Bailon’s Sidekick phone, prompting speculation as to who really leaked them. "Adrienne and her boyfriend (Kim Kardashian's younger brother Robert) swear they didn't leak them, but it wouldn't surprise me if Adrienne did."
And it sounds like the failed publicity stunt may end up doing more damage than good. "Adrienne has been crying for two days straight, she's on her Cheetah Girls tour right now so she has to explain to her fans and is totally distraught. Her career is in real jeopardy." |
