Angelina Jolie: Just a “Normal Mother” Wed, 23-Sep-2009
Though she's one of the world's most beloved actresses, Angelina Jolie recently told press she sees herself as just another normal mother.
The "Girl, Interrupted" actress and mother-of-six says she's just like every other mom, with the only difference being her high-profile career.
Ang explained, "I am just a dedicated mother and really quite normal. I dedicate my free time to my United Nations work — I have a sincere interest in social issues."
She continued, "At the same time, my main focus is on my children. I want to be with them for the big moments in their lives. We have birthdays all year round! It's chaos but we do manage somehow — we just try to have a wonderful time. Now the older kids get involved in planning the birthdays for younger kids. It's one of the greatest pleasures of life."
