Madonna: looking Forward to Life with Mercy Mon, 15-Jun-2009
Speaking to press following her highly emotional adoption approval, Madonna is ready to begin life with Chifundo "Mercy" James.
"I am extremely grateful for the Supreme Court's ruling on my application to adopt Mercy James," Madge's rep, Liz Rosenberg, told Us magazine.
The "Queen of Pop" continued on about her adopted 3-year-old child, "I am ecstatic. My family and I look forward to sharing our lives with her."
Explaining that Mercy will soon be joining her new mother, an insider revealed, "Her passport is already being prepared -- we're not going to pause this over the weekend. Madonna and Mercy should be together by Wednesday."
