Madonna Lands in London Fri, 19-Jun-2009
She’s no stranger to transatlantic flights, and earlier today (June 19) Madonna was spotted arriving at London’s Heathrow International Airport.
Joined by her loving family, the Material Girl looked a bit preoccupied as she led the entourage through the terminal and past the paparazzi.
And now that she will be able to adopt Malawian orphan Mercy James, Madge is uplling out all the stops to make sure her home is prepared for the new arrival. A source told press, “Madonna wants Mercy to feel like a little princess when she arrives.”
In order to do that, the “Like a Virgin” songstress has enlisted the help of gal pal Gwyneth Paltrow. "Gwyneth has a home in the Hamptons area of New York and Madonna was so impressed with her daughter Apple's room that she asked Gwyneth to help her kit out Mercy's new bedroom. As well as all the items inside, she's also commissioned a mini Georgian-style tree house for Mercy and David in her garden."
