Madonna Mourns Michael Jackson's Death Fri, 26-Jun-2009
While the world mourns Michael Jackson’s death, one celebrity has been hit especially hard with the news.
Madonna says that she has not stopped crying since hearing the news of Jackson’s death.
The Material Girl attended the 1991 Academy Awards with Jackson and expressed her feelings after hearing the tragic news.
"I can't stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson," she said. "The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless."
In 1991, the two world wide singers planned on working on a duet for Jackson’s ‘Dangerous’ album. Jackson had also just signed the famous ‘billion dollar’ contract with Sony where he would record six albums for Epic Records and also star in a number of movies for Columbia Pictures, who were both owned by Sony.
Jackson earned $1 million a week, which was eventually supposed to bring him to a billion dollars.
As previously reported, Jackson was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles yesterday. He is believed to have suffered cardiac arrest at his home. Doctors were unable to revive him. |
