Madonna Stage Collapsing Kills One, Injures Six Thu, 16-Jul-2009
In tragic news, a worker readying for Madonna's concert was killed in Marseille, France today after the set collapsed.
"I am devastated to have just received this tragic news," Madonna said in a statement.
The Material Girl added, "My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families, along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news."
According to AP reports, the set being built at the Stade Velodrome fell apart – leading to injuries sustained by six workers and the death of one. |
