Penelope Cruz: Cannes Food Poisoning Mon, 18-May-2009
Believe it or not, celebrities aren’t perfect all the time - and Penelope Cruz is the latest celeb to attest to that.
The “Vicky Christina Barcelona” babe reportedly caught a stomach bug while in Cannes, France for the annual film fest, and was forced to miss out on the premiere of “Broken Embraces” along with some promotional duties for her upcoming musical, “Nine.”
Reports are saying the Spanish actress may have had food poisoning, but after a visit to the doctor she should be back in fine health by Tuesday.
Cruz's film, “Nine,” will premiere in November and includes fellow stars Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Fergie.
